Group Dog Training classes are an excellent way to get involved in your canine community, and work on proper socialization with your pup while also making friends who share a similar mindset. At Ohana Dog Training, we offer group training classes for Puppies, Basic Obedience, Canine Good Citiizen, Dog Tricks and Sports, and occasionally more! We also host Tampa Bay Toss & Fetch League, as well as Agility and Disc Dog Training sessions for those who are looking to get more involved in sports for fun with their beloved pets. Name Of Class: Beginner “Just For Fun’ Agility
Instructor:: Cassie Kennedy Location: Ohana Dog Training Center Headquarters Class Date & Time: Sunday, April 21st, from 9 – 10:30am Class Length: Single Drop-In Class, One And A Half Hour Class Price Of Class: $30 per canine / human team Level: Intermediate (Young Dog) Description: Does your dog love to run, jump, climb, balance and zig zag? Then our agility class may be for you if you have a high energy pup who hasn’t stopped running circles around you! Not only is the sport a fun way to bond with your dog, it’s also a great confidence booster for them! Whether your dog is motivated by treats or toys, they will have so much fun learning the different courses and obstacles such as the jumps, tunnel, mini dog walk, a-frame, tire jump, mini dog walk, teeter totter and weave poles in our beginner agility class. Remember, this class is JUST FOR FUN and will take place on Sunday, April 21st from 9 – 10:30am and is not intended for serious competitors in the sport. Thanks for your understanding! Instructor:: Cassie Kennedy Location: Ohana Dog Training Center Headquarters Class Date & Time: Sunday, April 21st, from 10:30am – 12pm Class Length: Single Drop-In Class, One Hour Class (30min Test) Price Of Class: $30 per canine / human team Level: Intermediate (Young Dog) Description: We make training fun for dogs of all breeds, ages and sizes! Join us at Ohana Dog Training for a series of Drop-In “Canine Good Citizen” (or Beginner Obedience). Classes are Drop-In format, so you are able to work at your own pace. Puppies over the age of six months are welcomed to join us at these group obedience classes. $30 for one hour small group class of no more than four dogs. A smaller class format allows us to give more individualized attention to each dog / handler team. Ohana Dog Training focuses on the dog / handler bond and relationship-based dog training. Sign up for our next Drop-In CGC Obedience Prep Class & Test on Sunday, April 21st, from 10:30 – 12pm. Pre-pay is required to join any of our group dog training classes. Or have you just wanted to teach your dog some fun tricks? Well, now is your opportunity to reach for your wildest dreams! Our “Canine Acting School” is an all-inclusive program for dogs of ANY age and breed to begin pursuing their career in animal acting. This program is made to get you and your pup started with learning essentials skills that will be required by the film industry and productions. In this class, you will learn tricks and skills of the train necessary to having your dog featured in films, commercials, music videos and / or other forms of advertisement.Canine Acting & Tricks Workshop will be held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 12:00 – 1:30pm. Instructor:: Cassie Kennedy Location: Ohana Dog Training Center Headquarters Class Date & Time: Sunday, April 21st from 4:00 – 6pm Class Length: Single Drop-In Class, One And A Half Hour Class Price Of Class: $15 per canine / human team Level: Intermediate (Young Dog) Description: The coolest game of fetch EVER! Enjoy learning the basics and foundation skills of thrilling sport of disc with your dog at our training facility in Tampa Bay. Your dog will love learning an exciting and fun new game, while also learning to engage with you and building a lasting bond. We will be working on rollers, takes, tracking the discs and minimal short tosses. $15 per dog / handler team for five weeks of high-flying fun. Compete on a national level by joining our club Tampa Bay Toss and Fetch League! Instructor:: Cassie Kennedy Location: · Class Date & Time: To Be Determined Class Length: Single Drop-In Class, One Hour Class (30min Test) Price Of Class: $30 per canine / human team Level: Advanced (Dogs Of All Ages, And Gifted Puppies) Description: Take your canine good citizen skills to the next level! Great for service dogs in training, therapy dogs in training, or pets needing to learn socialization skills in a public environment. We always train in a variety of pet-friendly locations to proof our dogs behaviors and manners in a variety of different settings. Optional Urban / Advanced CGC tests will be provided immediately following this class.
